Welcome to the Mananthavady Co-Operative Urban Society website! We pride ourselves on being a co operative Society, committed to helping our customers prosper while realizing their dreams and achieving financial security.

The co-operative Society has been playing distinct and significant role in the process of socio - economic development of the region & whole country. We thank all our customers (Depositors, Share Holders & Borrowers ) for their support & confidence shown by them in us.

The promoting committee consisting of 40 members formed in 1996 led to the formation of the Mananthavady Urban Co-operative Society.Mr.K V Mohanan was appointed as chief promoter ,Mr.P V Sahadevan was appointed as the honorary secretary by the then committee. By overcoming the crisis the society could set up its office aside from the Mysore road. It was inaugurated by the then finance minister of Kerala Sri. Shivadasa Menon. During the period the membership rose up to 6000. The office was shifted to Park View Tower located in the heart of Mananthavady town and was inaugurated by the then-opposition leader of Kerala Sri V S Achuthanadan.The hardworkdone by the management and staff especially in increasing in share capital and deposit and reducing the overdue helped us to achieve success.
